Accountant
We have an Excellent Contract to Hire position for an Accountant to join a leading Company located in Richmond, VA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include receiving and coding invoices, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, billing for CAM, reviewing and administering leases, etc.
- We have a property manager whodeals withmost of the tenants, but candidate will take care of the accounting piece. Occasionally, will work with contractors fora tenant improvementand oversee the work.
- Assist with the preparation offinancial statements for board meetings.
- Review books, make journal entries, and reconcile accounts before sending books to accountants to prepare tax returns.
- We have manyinvestments that you will assistwith capital calls, etc.
- Administer charitable foundations.
- Go to bank, post office andother locations as needed andthere is mileage reimbursement.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- A degree is not required but preferred, and if someone isa Property Accountant, thatis a plus.
- Confidentiality is imperative asdealing with confidential information.
- Must be a self-starter and able tomultitask and prioritize work.
- Must know QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Looking for someone with stability, mature, professional, strong communication skills, ableto work independently, and multitaskas every dayissomething different.
