Entry - Level Payroll Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry- Level Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in payroll, accounting or Human Resources. The Payroll Specialist will assist with processing employee pay, maintaining payroll records and ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations.
Responsibilities:- Assist with processing weekly or Biweekly payroll for employees.
- Review timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter payroll data into payroll software.
- Maintain employee payroll records and files.
- Assist with payroll tax reporting and compliance.
- Respond to employee payroll questions.
- Support HR and accounting teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and office software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Good Communication and problem-solving skills.
- Prior administrative or office experience is a plus but not required.
