Qualifications & Skills

We welcome both new graduates and experienced veterinarians. To thrive in this role, you should bring:

• Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary program

• Virginia veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure)

• A positive, professional, and collaborative attitude

• Strong diagnostic, medical, and general soft-tissue surgical skills

• Clear and confident client communication abilities

• Commitment to continued learning and mentorship

• Interest in contributing to our positive, team-based practice culture

We also welcome veterinarians with special interests in integrative medicine, exotics, acupuncture, or other unique areas of care we encourage you to bring your strengths to our patients!

Hours of Operation

• Monday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM

• Tuesday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Wednesday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM

• Thursday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Friday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

We offer a rotating 4-day and 4.5-day workweek , giving you a 3-day weekend every other week .
No after-hours emergency duty is required our patients are supported by multiple nearby emergency and specialty centers.
