As a **Security Professional - Aero/Defense Patrol** in **Norfolk, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting any irregularities or security-related concerns in an aerospace and defense environment.
+ Monitor assigned areas to help to deter trespassing, theft, and/or other prohibited activities relevant to the location.
+ Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as required.
+ Document and report all security-related incidents and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with site protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
+ A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
