City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift Weekend Days Overview: Sentara is currently hiring a Registered Nurse to work at Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk on our Medical Procedures Unit. This unit will have a mixture of medical, surgical and intermediate care patients. Preferred candidates will have IMCU experience or at least two years acute med/surg RN experience. Hours/Shift: Full-time, weekend dayshift (Every Friday, Sat and Sun) Approximately 7am to 7pm Department/Position Overview: This 8-bed unit will have a mixture of medical, surgical and intermediate care patients. The RN to patient ratio is 4 to 1 with a Patient Care Technician. We are looking for nurses with IMCU experience or at least two years of recent RN Medical Surgical acute care nursing experience.
