This full-time opportunity is conveniently located near Henrico, VA, with assignments across multiple schools, serving a diverse K–12 student population. There may be a primary focus at the elementary level, with final caseload numbers currently being determined to best align with your professional strengths and interests.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Familiarity with a range of student needs, including fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Reliable transportation for travel between school sites (as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify functional goals in collaboration with educators, parents, and related service providers
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students requiring occupational therapy services
• Contribute to IEPs by sharing evaluations and progress updates with school teams and families
• Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services in classroom and pull-out settings
• Provide ongoing support to classroom staff for effective accommodations and modifications
• Participate actively in team and staff meetings, offering expertise for school-wide initiatives
