Medical Receptionist / Medical Billing - Remote | WFH
Patient Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, voicemails, and patient inquiries related to scheduling, billing, and medication refills.
Billing & Financial Coordination: Process daily billing for patient visits, generate reports through the EMR system, and collaborate with the clinical and administrative team on billing-related matters.
Medical Records & Documentation: Assist in exporting documentation to other provider offices involved in patient care (e.g., dermatology, gastrointestinal specialists).
Data Management: Navigate patient charts to verify medication refill dates, appointment details, and demographic information.
Administrative Support: Complete follow-up calls to patients regarding scheduling, medication refills, and paperwork needs as directed by the clinical team.
Technology & Reporting: Utilize Excel and Google Docs for workflow tracking and reporting.
General Office Tasks: Handle printing, copying, scanning, and mailing documents as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in medical billing (required).
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
Comfort navigating electronic medical records (EMR) and handling patient data.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
