Health & Safety Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead risk analyses and safety audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Develop and oversee advanced health and safety training programs and provide training for managers.
- Manage incidents and coordinate corrective actions, while supervising the use of PPE and managing H&S projects.
- Teach proactive H&S risk management strategies at all levels of the organization and maintain emergency plans.
- Prepare detailed reports for management and communicate the results of H&S initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety in the manufacturing industry
- Mastery of regulations and application at the plant level.
- Must have union manufacturing plant experience.
- Expertise in risk analysis and safety audits.
- Understanding of OSHA guidelines and other state and local safety regulations
- Incident management and implementation of corrective measures.
- Development and supervision of H&S programs.
- Effective management of PPE and H&S projects.
