We are looking for a skilled and dependable Field Technician to join our growing handyman team. The Field Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of residential and commercial maintenance and repair tasks while delivering excellent customer service. This role requires a well-rounded technician who takes pride in their work, communicates clearly, and can manage jobs independently while representing the company with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Service & Repairs: Perform general handyman tasks including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and general maintenance work.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to assess repair needs, explain work to be completed, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Work Orders: Complete assigned work orders efficiently, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Problem Solving: Diagnose maintenance issues and determine the most effective solutions.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs and installations meet company standards and local codes.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Documentation: Record materials used, time spent, and details of each job accurately in company systems.
Vehicle & Equipment Care: Maintain company tools and vehicle in clean, safe, and working condition.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in general maintenance, construction, or handyman work.
Proficiency in a variety of repair and maintenance skills (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
Knowledge of basic safety practices and OSHA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using mobile apps or work order management systems.
Certifications or licenses in specialized trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) are a plus.
