Job Summary & Mission

The eCommerce Strategy Manager is a critical driver of digital acceleration, shaping the long term strategy that positions the business to win across an evolving digital marketplace. This role serves as a thought leader and cross functional integrator—transforming consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and eCommerce analytics into high impact strategies that unlock growth, strengthen brand equity, and elevate online performance. The Manager leads enterprise scale initiatives that enhance discoverability, conversion, and customer experience, while championing digital excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic eCommerce Leadership

  • Lead the development of multi year eCommerce strategies that align with enterprise growth ambitions, commercial priorities, and digital transformation objectives.
  • Identify strategic opportunities across assortment, search, retail media, and emerging platforms, ensuring the business stays ahead of digital marketplace trends.
  • Benchmark competitive activity to inform proactive action plans that elevate online presence and drive differentiated execution.

Performance & Insights Driven Growth

  • Leverage digital shelf analytics, paid search data, and consumer behavior insights to diagnose opportunities, quantify impact, and prioritize initiatives that accelerate revenue and share growth.
  • Convert complex datasets into crisp, influential recommendations that strengthen discoverability, conversion, and category performance across retailers.
  • Own the integrity, accuracy, and scalability of eCommerce dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring data consistency for high stakes decisions.

Digital Shelf & Retail Media Excellence

  • Champion and advance digital shelf excellence by advocating for best‑in‑class PDP content, taxonomy, and variation strategy—partnering closely with Brand teams to drive alignment, elevate execution, and ensure our products show up with maximum visibility and conversion across platforms.
  • Partner with internal retail media experts to develop and refine winning search and retail media strategies that amplify brand presence and support new launches.
  • Identify friction points in the online experience and implement solutions that enhance discoverability, relevance, and user experience across customer platforms.

Cross Functional Influence & Capability Building

  • Act as a strategic connector and influencer across Brand, Commercial Development, Sales, and Category teams—ensuring alignment on eCommerce priorities and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain high impact tools, playbooks, and training materials that strengthen digital acumen enterprise wide and enable consistent best in class execution.
  • Lead education and knowledge sharing forums that embed digital principles into everyday workflows, helping elevate Nestlé’s position as a digital commerce leader.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in eCommerce, analytics, category management, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and insight generation skills, including experience with IRI or syndicated data sources.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to translate complex data into persuasive narratives.
