Commercial Fleet Technician A

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can work independently, adept at identifying the source of malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on various vehicle components and systems, including chassis, refuse bodies, air and hydraulic braking systems, engine, suspension, drivetrain, steering, and heating and air conditioning systems.
- Conduct light maintenance welding and fabrication.
- Utilize a variety of electronic tools to identify the source of malfunctions.
- Complete company training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform inspections and repairs on heavy truck or automotive systems such as Suspensions & Steering, General Engine, Transmissions, Brakes, Electrical, Hydraulics, Drive Train, and Diesel Emissions, often without supervision.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge and strong skill proficiency in various vehicle components and systems.
- Ability to perform complex repair maintenance functions.
- Experience with light maintenance welding and fabrication.
- Proficiency in identifying the source of malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools.
- ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are preferred.
- LNG and/or CNG experience is beneficial.
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License is required.
