The Nova Lab is seeking an ambitious Illustrator to join our creative team in Fairfax. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $76,800 to $156,000 per year, along with the flexibility of a fully remote work arrangement and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Create original illustrations and graphics for digital products, websites, and marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure visual consistency across all deliverables
• Translate project briefs and concepts into compelling visual assets
• Develop creative concepts and present ideas to team members and stakeholders
• Revise illustrations based on feedback while meeting project deadlines
• Maintain organized files, assets, and design libraries
• Stay informed on current illustration trends and digital design tools
• Support the creation of infographics, icon sets, and other visual content as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Illustration, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Strong portfolio showcasing illustration skills and creative range
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate
• Solid understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong time management skills
• Excellent visual communication and attention to detail
• Receptiveness to constructive feedback and a collaborative team mindset
• Basic knowledge of digital file preparation and image optimization
