Software Developer SME
Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Developer SME to maintain a network, records system, and other analytical applications to collect and analyze data on business operations. The goal is to improve the integrity and usability of its data collected during its day to day operation through the development of software systems. The ideal candidate will specialize in development and maintenance of software that extracts, transforms, and loads data from various data formats into data models.
Responsibilities:
- Working within a data engineering team.
- Working closely with operations officers, analysts, and external engineers to gather requirements and refine systems.
- Assessing and validating development requirements across the organization.
- Developing software to extract, transform, and load data.
- Helping architect and implementing a framework for extraction, transformation, and loading data.
- Assessing and validating system integration requirements across the organization.
- Providing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for data related software systems.
- Finessing cyber data models.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in identifying and validating requirements for Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
- Experienced in software development, creating and maintaining robust and scalable applications.
- Skilled in Python development, leveraging its versatility for various programming tasks.
- Adept at integrating new technology stacks into existing software systems, enhancing functionality and innovation.
- US Citizen with an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficient in utilizing NiFi, Kafka, and Logstash for data ingestion, processing, and management.
- Skilled in SQL for data querying, analysis, and database management.
- Experienced in designing and building modular systems for improved maintainability and scalability.
- Possesses a strong understanding of the Cyber Security domain.
This position is located in Chantilly, VA.
The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000.00 - $210,000.00, commensurate on Clearance, technical skillset and overall experience.
