Job summary:

Next Generation, Inc, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Technical Architect with expertise in reporting and integrations to join our dynamic team for a hybrid role in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle technologies, particularly Oracle Fusion applications, and a proven track record of designing and implementing robust reporting solutions and integrations. This role offers the opportunity to lead architectural design efforts, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and drive the implementation of innovative solutions to meet business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of Oracle reporting solutions, including Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and other reporting tools to meet business requirements
• Architect and implement integrations between Oracle Fusion applications and other enterprise systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud Service (ICS) and other integration technologies
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define reporting and integration needs, and develop architectural solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Design and optimize data models and schemas for reporting and analytics, ensuring scalability, performance and data integrity.
• Define and enforce reporting and integration standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of solutions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including developers, business analysts, project managers, and system administrators, to deliver integrated and cohesive solutions that meet business needs

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle Technical Architect, with a focus on reporting and integrations
• Extensive experience with Oracle reporting tools, including Oracle BI Publishers, Oracle Reports, ad Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Strong proficiency in Oracle integration technologies, such as Oracle Integration cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle Integration Cloud Service (ICS)
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Applications, including data structures, modules, and business processes
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and design efficient integration solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
• Oracle certifications, (eg Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Integration Cloud Service) are a plus
• Experience with Oracle Cloud applications and technologies is preferred.
