Pharmacy Technician Full Time Licensed

The Suffolk Public Schools’ Health Pharmacy, powered by On-Site Rx, has an exciting opportunity for a dependable and caring Licensed Pharmacy Technician to work in Suffolk, Virginia. The position is considered full-time and will have scheduled hours up to 40 hours per week.

The pharmacy is open Monday - Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm and Saturday 9:00am – 12pm. The pharmacy closes each weekday for lunch, from 1:30 – 2pm. Our distinctive work environment comes with opportunity for career growth and development with hours that support a healthy work – life balance.

On-Site Rx pharmacies offer a unique and innovative setting. We provide closed door pharmacy services for self-insured employers which means we will only be servicing Suffolk Public School employees and their dependents. The setting is similar in feel and operation to an independent retail pharmacy, but no outside insurance coverage is accepted – meaning issues with insurance carriers are limited.

• Ability to work well within a pharmacy team serving a diverse patient population
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is preferred, though not required
• Pharmacy Technician certification is desired, though not required
• Must pass a background check and have a negative drug screen
