What You'll Do- Design and implement innovative lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of preschool children, ensuring alignment with early childhood education standards and curriculum goals
- Cultivate a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow independently and socially
- Establish and implement behavior management strategies that promote positive interactions, emotional regulation, and social skills among preschool children
- Collaborate with families to provide individualized support for each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services
- Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
- Manage classroom routines, transitions, and activities to ensure a safe, organized, and productive learning environment
- Lead engaging activities that support literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori-inspired learning approaches
- Ensure children's overall well-being by prioritizing their safety, health, and happiness at all times
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in childhood education is encouraged
- Experience with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus
- Knowledge of standardized testing methods relevant to early childhood assessment tools
- Ability to plan lessons effectively while adapting to individual student needs
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community partners
- Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom management experience is essential
