Are you passionate about developing innovative software solutions that drive real-world impact? NS2 Mission is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Full-Stack Software Developer to join its mission-focused team in Chantilly, VA . In this role, you'll contribute to the development of a web-based application designed to optimize tasking workflows, improve information delivery, and support critical decision-making.
Position Overview:
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will help design and build a centralized application that enables users to create and manage tasking requests with streamlined approval workflows. The system will consolidate tasking data, eliminate redundancies, integrate with external tools, and provide robust metrics and reporting capabilities.
We are seeking developers with experience across the technology stack—from building RESTful APIs to designing dynamic, user-friendly interfaces—with a focus on performance, scalability, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Technical Skills:
Data & Processing: OpenTable format and PySpark
Backend Development: Python (FastAPI), Java, SpringBoot, RESTful API design patterns
Frontend Development: JavaScript and modern UI frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
Infrastructure & DevOps: AWS, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes
Development Practices: Agile methodology, infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent hands-on technical experience
- Proven expertise with OpenTable formats and PySpark
- Experience developing backend APIs with Python, Java, SpringBoot, and RESTful architecture
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including JavaScript and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue
- Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure concepts
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation using Terraform
- Prior experience with Agile development environments and DevOps tools/practices
- Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
- Knowledge of automated deployment and release engineering workflows
