 This full-time, on-site position is based in Fredericksburg and offers an excellent chance for entry-level professionals to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

In this role, you will be a vital part of our team, providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients in need. You will work closely with experienced medical professionals, contributing to the delivery of critical services and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform necessary procedures and interventions in emergency situations
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency medicine
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations in the healthcare setting

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a supportive environment
• Experience in emergency medicine is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates

Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Facility: Standalone emergency department, fully equipped trauma bay, 11 private treatment rooms

Fully integrated with nearby medical center

Patient Census: 8,500 annually, 23 daily

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
