RIDGE STREET WORSHIP LEADER/PASTOR

OBJECTIVE

This part-time position will work under the direction of the Ridge Street Campus Pastor and alongside the Central Worship and Production team to lead and create engaging and excellent worship environments at our Ridge Street location. The position will also be responsible for investing time and energy into all Worship and Production Dream Team volunteers at the campus. This involves onboarding, developing, training, encouraging, and motivating volunteers for the various creative arts teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership in the areas of the Creative Arts Team and the Ridge Street Campus. More specifically, this involves:

Ridge Street Worship Pastor Responsibilities

Sunday Morning Worship:

• Work with and under the direction of the Ridge Street Campus Pastor
• Oversee the planning and implementation of all Sunday worship and creative elements
• Model excellent leadership on and off the stage for the Dream Team
• Set clear expectations for the Creative Team culture
• Collaborate with the Creative Team staff to plan creative elements and ensure campus alignment
• Support the campus staff and Dream Team with technical needs
• Receive development and training from the Central Worship Pastor

Preparation:

• Prepare all Sunday service-related materials and oversee all equipment maintenance
• Schedule and communicate with Dream Team members weekly
• Continually develop personal skills and abilities
• Recruit musicians toward GrowthTrack and grow the Dream Team

Auditions & Development:

• Lead effective and efficient weekly rehearsals
• Follow the audition and onboarding process with each new GrowthTrack graduate
• Continually develop the skills of Dream Team members and help them to be the best they can be

Ridge Street Campus Staff Responsibilities

- Build and invest in relationships within the downtown Charlottesville community

- Bridge the gap between staff and guests by engaging with guests off the stage

- Live out The Point culture
