Location: Fredericksburg, VA (Serving Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, Westmoreland, and Orange Counties)
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Available!
Overview
We are seeking a self-driven, compassionate Community Liaison (Hospice Marketer / Sales Representative) to join a dynamic team serving the Fredericksburg area. Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, social workers, and healthcare partners to strengthen collaboration and trust.
- Community Advocacy: Serve as a passionate advocate for hospice services by conducting regular outreach that reflects a commitment to compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care.
- Growth & Market Presence: Drive referral and census growth by positioning our organization as the provider of choice across the service area.
- Patient & Family Support: Support patients and families during critical moments by leading initial conversations about hospice care, clearly explaining services and philosophy, and facilitating consent with empathy and respect.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; additional relevant experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare sales/marketing experience required. Hospice or palliative marketing experience is strongly preferred.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to generate and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts, including physicians, healthcare professionals, and community agencies.
- Clinical Knowledge: Prior clinical experience is a plus.
- Travel: Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance, and be willing to drive throughout the designated territory.
