Description

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Network Engineer requiring a SECRET clearance in Vienna, VA.

The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Treasury’s TSDN network infrastructure. Ensures high availability, performance, and security of LAN/WAN services.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.

- Implement network security measures and ACLs.

- Monitor network performance and availability.

- Support troubleshooting of connectivity issues.

- Maintain network diagrams and documentation.

- Support DR/COOP networking requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

- Active Secret clearance (T-3).

- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

- 5+ years of enterprise networking experience.

- Knowledge of Cisco networking equipment.

- Understanding of routing, switching, and firewalls.

Preferred Qualifications

- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification.

- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds).

- Knowledge of encryption devices and VPNs.
