Software Developer

KeenLogic is seeking to hire a Software Developer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This role is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing secure cloud-based software solutions within DLA’s AWS GovCloud environment. Key duties include systems integration, software architecture, secure deployment leveraging DoD’s Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA), compliance with Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG), Zero Trust gap analysis, and environment design. This is a hybrid role.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance 
• 5+ years of relevant experience 
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I 
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Certified Associate, or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect. 

Job Duties:

• Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Responsible for project completion.
• Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects for management.
• Helps develop overall technical approach for task order execution.
• Leverage the DoD’s Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) to support secure deployment of DoD systems and information into the DLA’s Government Cloud (GovCloud) environment.
• Design and develop software products to meet or exceed the DoD’s Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG).
• Help assess the DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture V2.0 and conduct gap analysis impacting hosting.
• Reference NIST SP 500-292 Cloud Computing Reference Architecture in all design activities.
• Support development of Software Bill of Materials (SBoM) for new designs.
• Support design of Development, Test, Production and Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations environments.
