Job Overview:
Seeking a dynamic Senior Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT as an Analyst or equivalent role. This position requires a professional who can work independently on complex projects, defining system scope and objectives based on user needs, and devising procedures to solve intricate problems. The role involves working with multiple business areas in multi-platform environments, monitoring project progress, and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations of a diverse application portfolio.
• Collaborate with IT professionals to deliver and implement high-profile software projects.
• Translate business and user requirements into accurate system design requirements and technical specifications.
• Analyze and evaluate existing or developed applications and prepare detailed documentation.
• Conduct detailed data analysis and produce system data mapping deliverables.
• Define project tasks and estimate effort required to achieve deliverables.
• Plan and lead software production implementations and establish post-go-live activities.
• Interact regularly with business customers, analysts, architects, developers, and software vendors.
• Lead small teams on COTS implementations and collaborate with vendors to resolve complex problems.
• Manage defects and enhancement requests, including analysis, testing, and implementation coordination.
• Create and execute detailed test scripts.
• Provide root cause analysis of operational issues and application defects.
• Support and maintain legacy applications while leading migration efforts to sustainable technologies.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT systems analysis.
• Strong database skills with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with SharePoint; SAP experience is a plus.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Unix, MS Windows, MS Windows Server, and Linux.
• Knowledge of cloud and containerization technologies like AWS, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong shell scripting and debugging skills, including PowerShell.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and exercise independent judgment.
• Demonstrated competency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Extensive experience in all phases of the SDLC, including documentation of BRD, Use Case, and Functional Specifications.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
• Preferred: B.S. Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or equivalent engineering/business-related field.
• Utilities experience is highly desirable.

Pay Range: $57 - $61/hr. W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
