As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document activity and respond to issues as they arise, bringing Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, disruptive behavior, and/or access control issues.
• Monitor and document security-related activity, complete incident reports, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or public response personnel as needed.
• Support access control by checking doors, monitoring visitor flow, and assisting with directions and/or escorts per site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required at this hospital site.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
