Infrastructure Technology Consultant

The Prospective Group (TPG) is seeking an Infrastructure Technology Consultant (Architect) whose role within the Department of State's Information Resource Management (IRM) Systems Integration Office (SIO) is to support its Enterprise Server Operations Center (ESOC) to provide secure, scalable, flexible, resilient, and adaptable on-premises and cloud hosting solutions.

Position Description:

A successful candidate is a self-starter who can listen to customers to identify and articulate their specific needs and concerns. Can translate mission needs into technical requirements and prioritize activities and milestones. Technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure Government (MAG) cloud offering, and data center operations and IT infrastructure (compute, storage, and network). Ability to collect, analyze, and present data center and cloud services technical information to clients. Experience with preparing technical executive briefings utilizing power point. Excellent at identifying technology trends, determining process improvements, and implementing change. Experience with a variety of technologies as listed in the position requirements.
