Job Title: Housekeeper - 1st Shift

Job Description

The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, facilities, and dining halls. This role involves using cleaning chemicals and supplies to ensure a pristine environment. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as the housekeeper will interact with students, staff, and alumni.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize common areas, restrooms, and dining halls.
• Use provided cleaning chemicals and supplies effectively.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service during interactions with students, staff, and alumni.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of previous housekeeping experience.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial duties.
• Skills in mopping and custodial tasks.

Work Environment

The housekeeper will work from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, ensuring facilities are ready for the upcoming school year during the summer months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
