Main position objectives
The Spare Parts Salesperson provides the highest quality of parts support to our customers for their Gala Underwater Pelletizing Systems.

Position description – Tasks, responsibilities, competencies
(List 8-10 specific tasks – start each description indicating an action e.g. leads, advises, develops etc.)
• Processes customer’s orders
• Works with the service department to process service & warranty / no charge type orders
• Completes daily filing
• Creates recommended spare parts quotes for new and existing systems
• Works closely with all departments at Gala
• Answers customer’s phone calls and emails
• Works with customers (domestic and export) on quotes and orders
• Researches equipment upgrade/change-out requests
• Issues return authorizations and follows through when the parts are returned
• Determines selling prices for commercial parts
• Works 40 hours per week - Overtime may be required
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

Work Environment
• Work in this position is in the office. Occasional travel to the shop floor does occur and will require steel toe shoes and additional PPE.
