Background

The electrician must have a strong familiarity with NEC requirements and be able to obtain a security clearance. Work may involve climbing to elevated locations, going into trenches, confined spaces, irregular walking surfaces, and a wide range of potential construction hazards. This could turn into a full-time position if desired.

Duties And Responsibilities

· Complete assigned electrical tasks in the field including but no limited to: routing conduit, pulling wires, mounting electrical panels/boxes, etc.

· Flexibility to complete a wide range of assigned tasks with other trades

• Must be willing to travel

Education Requirements

· High school diploma

· Equivalent proven work experience and/or military background demonstrating you can execute the role effectively

Desired Qualifications

·Able to obtain DOD Secret clearance

· 5 years of experience in a construction environment

· Federal Gov’t experience (DOD, USACE, etc)

· Project experience in electrical construction

· High sense of urgency to complete assigned tasks.

· Possess a working understanding of electrical requirements

· Strong accountability for the delivery of promised actions and a reputation for prompt follow-up.

· Strong knowledge of construction methods and safety requirements
