We are looking for a Human Resources Staffing and Classification Program Analyst to work in Dahlgren, VA. The successful candidate will provide on-site support at NSWC Dahlgren Division. The candidate will support day-to-day operation for the Corporate Operations Department, Human Resources, Staffing/Classification in the area of Staffing, Classification and Recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your experience and expertise in the federal hiring and on-boarding process providing support for the NSWCDD HR office in Dahlgren, Virginia.
• Provide support with staffing and hiring new employees to include tracking of new applicants and action/status updates. Requires utilizing SharePoint or other computer-based tools to manage hiring status.
• Utilize the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) to review and analyze employee’s employment records and history and to process personnel actions for new hires and current employees.
• Utilize Onboarding Manager (OM) to manage offers of employment, pre-employment tasking and other onboarding requirements.
• Provide knowledgeable support responding to employee’s Human Resources related inquiries on topics such as position status, benefits, leave, pay, etc.
• Review and analyze SF-50s for accuracy and correctness after processing and taking corrective action where necessary.
• Provide HR support for New Employee Orientation (NEO) in welcoming new hires, reviewing onboarding documents and presenting HR materials during NEO.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current Interim secret showing in system or an active DoD-issued Secret (or higher) security clearance
• Associate degree in Human Resources or related business degree, OR three (3) plus years of work-related experience
• HR recruitment, training implementation and management experience
• Ability to work independently to resolve issues and respond to customer inquiries
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams)
• Detail-oriented
• Customer-focused

Desired Qualifications :

• Federal recruitment and hiring process experience
• Working knowledge of Navy ERP
• DCPDS familiarity
