Here, you’ll build your experience at a respected 250-bed academic community hospital with a longstanding reputation for excellence and innovation. The facility is recognized as the region’s only designated Chest Pain Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Center, giving you exposure to high-acuity surgical cases in a setting known for comprehensive surgical services. Through day-to-day collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll gain valuable insight into diverse clinical practices, leadership philosophies, and innovative care modalities—giving your resume a major boost.

You’ll also get to take advantage of bi-weekly orientation dates, ensuring a quick and seamless transition into your new role, with ample opportunity to network and connect with peers.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Bi-weekly orientation on Tuesdays (upcoming dates throughout the year)

Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS certifications required (prior to start)
  • Ability to consent to random drug screening and complete Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form
  • Must live at least 60 miles from facility to qualify for travel status

Responsibilities:

  • Scrub and circulate on a variety of OR cases
  • Collaborate closely with surgical, anesthesia, and perioperative teams
  • Uphold patient safety standards and evidence-based practice
  • Document care accurately and promptly
  • Participate in ongoing professional development offered by the facility
