Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Interventional Radiology Technologist specializing in Neuro IR to support angiography and special procedures in a hospital setting. This travel assignment is based in Mechanicsville, VA, at a facility with a 4-bed unit and a skilled team of 9 staff members, including 5 RNs and 4 technologists. The unit is equipped with advanced Phillips and GE biplane technology, utilizing Meditech for electronic medical records.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years hospital-based experience required
• Proven skills as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, specifically with Neuro IR procedures
• Ability to handle a high volume of neuro cases effectively and safely
• Comfortable working with advanced imaging equipment (Phillips and GE biplane)
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team during day shifts
• Willingness to participate in call rotations during weekends and after-hours

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform specialized neuro interventional radiology procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Operate and maintain the angiography equipment, ensuring optimal imaging quality
• Collaborate with RNs and other technologists to deliver high-quality patient care
• Document procedures accurately using Meditech EMR system
• Support emergency cases during call times, ensuring readiness and responsiveness
