System Administrator, Junior

RMC is hiring Junior System Administrator to support our customer at NSWC Dahlgren. The selected applicant will work with a team of highly talented individuals supporting a robust DoD Hosting environment.

Requirements

The selected applicant will be responsible for:

• Tier 2 and 3 Web Application support.
• Support System Integration in an RDT&E environment.
• Patching and maintaining various software applications.
• Ensure configuration control procedures are followed for all work activities.
• Troubleshoot issues across multiple environments to include SharePoint / IIS / SQL / OS / Network.
• Experience with PowerBi and SSRS preferred.

Required Qualifications: 

• Two to three (2-3) years of systems administration experience in Windows and or Linux environments.
• Experience with Jira Service Management.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers.
  
  

Required Clearance:

• An Interim DoD secret security clearance is required to start .
• Applicant must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. Selected applicant may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary for this position will be $65,000 - $85,000 annually.
