Marketing and Communications Associate
- Oversees, plans, coordinates, implements and tracks strategic marketing campaigns.
- Coordinates with external partner organizations to implement trade agreements and oversees the shipping of marketing collateral and the APCO booth in accordance with the trade agreements.
- Prepares and executes direct mail and email marketing campaigns.
- Conceives and/or designs marketing collateral for promotion of association’s products, services and events.
- Assists in social media outreach.
- Assists with editing and producing APCO’s magazine.
- Produces and edits electronic newsletters.
- Assists Creative Technology Manager with edits to APCO’s various websites.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or another related field.
- One to three years’ work related experience (can be internships) in communication, marketing or another related field.
- Outstanding oral, written and presentation skills.
- Competent with editing and familiarity with AP style.
- Experience with managing social media campaigns.
- Strong project management, collaborative, analytical and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with office productivity software, email marketing services and social media platforms.
- Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite a plus, i.e. Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.) and familiarity with HTML.
