Full-Time Neonatology Position Richmond, VAPosition Type: Permanent | Setting: Level III NICU | Visa & Locums: Not accepted Key Highlights
- Facility: Largest delivery center in the region with a 40-bed Level III NICU
- Model: Single-family room NICU family-centered care focus
- Coverage: 24/7 in-house neonatologist coverage
- Call: In-house; no newborn nursery coverage required
- Schedule: Full-time
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Locum Tenens Candidates: Not accepted
- Visa Candidates: Not accepted
- Deliver advanced neonatal intensive care
- Utilize therapies such as:
- HFOV (High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation)
- HFJV (High-Frequency Jet Ventilation)
- Inhaled nitric oxide
- Therapeutic hypothermia
- Work collaboratively with:
- On-site pediatric surgery & cardiology
- Nurse-led neonatal transport team
- Focus exclusively on NICU patients
- Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and clinical research Team Culture
