About The Role

Our Product Coordinator supports the end-to-end product lifecycle by managing samples, maintaining accurate product data, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external suppliers. This role is critical in keeping product information organized, timelines on track, and cross-functional partners aligned from concept through production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, communication, and follow-through are essential.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage all product samples including but not limited to, overseeing all inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining the sample room and library, and ensuring accurate tracking and organization of all materials.
  • Coordinate sample reviews with design and development teams; collect, document, and communicate feedback to suppliers and factories.
  • Track sample timelines and requests using the product development tracker and tech packs to ensure updates, comments, and approvals are properly recorded.
  • Facilitate communication with factories regarding samples, swatches, product updates, and delivery schedules to maintain alignment on timelines and expectations.
  • Support logistics needs including shipping samples to suppliers, customers, and trade shows, and assisting with showroom preparation and photography sample pass-offs.
  • Maintain product data by creating and updating item numbers, product records, and master SKU details in the ERP system.
  • Generate and manage product documentation such as UPCs, barcodes, and production sticker files for packaging and inventory control.
  • Review product specifications and reports for accuracy, ensuring all data is consistent across systems, catalogs, and internal documentation.
  • Provide cross-functional support by sharing updated product information with internal teams and assisting with special projects or process improvements as needed.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent working experience)
  • 1+ years of experience in product coordination, merchandising, or related role, ideally within the fashion or lifestyle industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); ERP experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and follow-through.
  • Familiarity with consumer goods production processes is a plus!

Note: Swig Life is currently operating under an onsite work model, and this position will report on site to our Richmond office at least 3 days per week. Additional ad-hoc in office days may be required based on business needs. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable with an on site-work model.
