Sr. Network Engineer
NexTech Solutions (NTS) is a team of experts and engineers who understand the challenges that organizations face in finding and implementing the best technologies and IT solutions to meet mission requirements. We work with our government customers in defense and civilian agencies to identify new technologies.
The Opportunity
The Sr. Network Engineer will analyze sensor data from multi-sensor C-UAS systems and convert findings into operational reporting and threat assessments.
Key Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
- Design, implement and maintain network infrastructures.
- Perform system integration, verification and validation, and supportability of network solutions.
Core Technical Areas:
- Collect and consolidate raw C-UAS sensor data into a centralized repository for standardized access and analysis.
- Analyze and interpret detection logs to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns of life related to UAS activity.
- Corelate and fuse multi-sensor data to develop actionable intelligence supporting operational planning, and TTP development.
- Generate and publish reoccurring analytic reports summarizing system performance, detection metrics, and emerging threats.
- Integrate and update findings into the C-UAS dashboard and reporting framework.
- Refine and streamline analytic workflows and reporting procedures to improve data accuracy, speed, and operational decision making.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze sensor telemetry, flight tracks, and signal or visual detections.
- Identify platform type, operator behavior, and threat signature indicators.
- Produce operational reports, including:
- Daily/weekly threat summaries
- Incident case reports
- Pattern-of-life / TTP updates
- System posture and defensive adjustment recommendations
- Support mission planning and system configuration tuning.
- CONUS travel once per month as required to Government-directed locations
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Must have active Secret or higher Security clearance
Education
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field; or equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience.
Required Skills, Experience & Abilities
- Minimum of 8 years experience designing, installing, implementing, supporting and maintaining network infrastructures.
