We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating business systems, identifying areas for enhancement, and aligning solutions with organizational strategies. This position requires a proactive individual who excels in understanding business needs and translating them into actionable system designs.
Responsibilities:• Analyze and evaluate existing business systems to identify areas for improvement and alignment with company goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and document detailed requirements.
• Develop functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, and system design documents.
• Conduct joint application development sessions to brainstorm and refine solutions.
• Facilitate communication between end-users, software vendors, and development teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Create technical documentation, including user manuals and flowcharts, to support system operations.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Perform gap analyses to assess discrepancies between current and desired system states.
• Provide guidance to programmers during system development and oversee technical requirements integration.
• Monitor and evaluate system performance, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.• Proven experience in business analysis and systems evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to perform gap analysis and propose actionable solutions.
• Familiarity with technical documentation and diagramming tools, such as flowcharts and UML.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience in call center customer service processes is a plus.
• Solid understanding of computer systems, programming languages, and software architecture.
• Ability to manage organizational and human impacts of new system implementations.
