DOW - Sr. Database Analyst
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience performing database analysis in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with relational databases and advanced SQL development.
- Experience supporting data quality, validation, and reporting functions.
- Familiarity with Oracle database environments.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of RMF, DoD cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (or higher) background investigation
- Perform advanced database analysis to support DSAID operational, reporting, and analytical requirements.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and reports.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with system analysts, developers, and DBAs to support application functionality and enhancements.
- Support data governance, data lineage, and metadata management activities.
- Ensure data integrity, auditability, and compliance with Privacy Act and records management requirements.
- Support RMF cybersecurity controls, database auditing, and security compliance activities.
- Assist with data migration, transformation, and modernization efforts under optional Development, Modernization, and Enhancement (DME) tasking.
- Support integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing related to data changes.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, schemas, and technical documentation.
- Support reporting requirements for internal stakeholders and external oversight.
- Assist in resolving data-related incidents, defects, and operational issues.
- Participate in Agile development activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Support transition-in, knowledge transfer, and sustainment activities
