Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established outpatient internal medicine practice in Vienna, Virginia. This is a full-time, weekday-only opportunity offering work-life balance in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Position Overview

The Outpatient Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to adult and geriatric patients in an ambulatory setting. This provider will evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions while emphasizing preventive care, patient education, and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
• Active DEA license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory/outpatient setting
• Experience in adult and geriatric primary care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
