Job Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles (primarily CDL Class A) to complete daily deliveries and pickups
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and complies with DOT safety standards
• Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery and obtain required signatures or documentation
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and records in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times
• Report any delays, accidents, mechanical issues, or route changes to dispatch or supervisor
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness as needed
• Represent CEEUS in a courteous and professional manner at all customer locations

Working Location and Conditions

• Based in Glen Allen, VA with daily travel throughout the DMV area
• Standard working hours are Monday through Friday with early morning starts
• Occasional overtime or adjusted schedules may be required based on route demand
• Requires ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Requires sitting, driving, climbing, and frequent movement in and out of truck

Qualifications:

• Must be available and able to deliver material to affected areas after extreme weather events
• Must have a valid Class A CDL with at least 3 years of experience
• Preferred experience driving a flatbed
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift over 50 lbs.
