Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Merchandising Specialist to drive store sales and ensure optimal product presentation across assigned retail locations. In this role, you will work closely with sales representatives and store management to ensure the best possible customer experience through effective point-of-purchase displays and shelf management.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales Performance & Shelf Management:
- Contribute to store sales by providing point-of-purchase support and managing product displays effectively to increase visibility and sales.
Calls Schedule Coordination:
- Review priorities and collaborate with your supervisor to establish an efficient call schedule for store visits.
Shelf Maintenance:
- Ensure store shelves are well-organized by:
- Making sure the right products are stocked on shelves or displays.
- Rotating products based on expiration dates to maintain freshness.
- Tidying up and optimizing product placement for better visibility and accessibility.
Inventory Management:
- Restock shelves using available inventory stock and monitor product levels.
- Notify Sales Representatives about low inventory levels through clear communication.
Promotion Support:
- Assist Sales Representatives with special promotions by:
- Setting up displays.
- Monitoring and assessing customer engagement with promotions at your store locations.
- Managing any issues or problem-solving by communicating promptly with your supervisor.
Quality Standards Compliance:
- Ensure high-quality results by adhering to and enforcing merchandising standards specific to each account.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Enhance the company’s merchandising reputation by accepting new tasks, exploring innovative ideas, and identifying opportunities to add value to your role.
AT&T Workforce Tracking System:
- Utilize the AT&T Workforce Tracking System to track job activities, manage schedules, and complete necessary performance reports.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 1 Year of experience in the food & Beverage industry preferred.
Requirements:
- Driving Record: A valid driving record will be required as part of the hiring process.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Insurance: Valid personal vehicle insurance is required.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is necessary to travel between multiple retail locations within your assigned territory.
- Union Position: This is a unionized role.

· Brand Representation: Serve as the primary representative of EMD and E&R, embodying the company’s values and building trust with store teams to become the go-to resource within your assigned territory.
· Communication : Maintain clear and consistent communication with store associates, managers, receivers, and the sales representative team to ensure alignment and success during store visits.
· Problem Solving: Proactively reach out to your supervisor for assistance when challenges arise, ensuring prompt resolution and support.
· Task Completion: Complete all tasks within the specified timeframes to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.
· Execution : Follow detailed instructions to ensure precise execution and high-quality results on the first attempt.
