We're looking for a back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions. Using your software engineering knowledge, you'll work with and learn from the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in software development with programming languages and back-end software design, such as Python

• Experience with containers, such as Docker

• Experience in creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative and cross-functional team

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering field and 2+ years of experience in software engineering, or 6+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with container orchestration software, such as Kubernetes

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies

• Experience with front-end programming languages and web stacks, such as Python or React

• Experience with infrastructure as code languages, such as Terraform

• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
