Senior Growth Analyst

Position Overview: The Senior Growth Analyst will be responsible for supporting strategic growth and development initiatives at Halvik. This role will work directly for the Chief Growth Officer, and serve as a "deputy" across multiple growth functions within the company. This will include working with the business development team (who identifies business opportunities and manages key relationships), working with the proposal manager (who is overseeing proposal and bid activities), and ensuring successful execution of strategic bids. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in federal contracting and traditional BD / capture activities, a strong background in personnel and project management, and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement mid and long-term growth strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Proposal and Bid Process:
    • Work with the current proposal manager and solutions architects to assist with the proposal and bid process for federal contracts, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of proposal development activities, ensuring that the company has access to appropriate resources and making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Financial and Growth Analysis:
    • Oversee the management of the company's business development pipeline and CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions effectively. Ensure accurate and up-to-date data to support strategic decision-making.
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis and growth forecasting to assess the company's performance and future potential. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide strategic planning and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Internal Communications:
    • Plan, organize, and facilitate quarterly leadership meetings for C-suite and executive audiences.
    • Facilitate communication between corporate development and other departments (e.g., finance, contracts, and operational teams) to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives and proposal development.
  • Business Development and Relationship Management:
    • Ensure Halvik's access to relevant contract vehicles, leading the company's approach to identify and pursue GWAC opportunities, including partnerships and alliances.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key federal agencies, clients, and industry partners.
  • Deliver Operational Excellence:
    • Allocate resources effectively to support strategic initiatives and business development efforts.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including contracts, finance, and technical departments, to ensure alignment and support for corporate development efforts.
    • Identify and manage risks associated with strategic initiatives, including legal and financial considerations.
    • Provide regular updates to senior executives on progress, challenges, and key performance indicators.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors, to keep them informed of key developments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate development, business development, or a related role, with a focus on federal contracting and IT services.
    • Proven track record of success in managing and growing federal contracts and strategic partnerships.
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute long-term growth strategies.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with federal clients and industry partners.
    • In-depth knowledge of federal regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
