Job Description:

Supports the integration and application of space-focused intelligence across SC2 focus areas and planning by identifying potential risks, assessing their impact, and developing protocols to mitigate or manage those risks. Provides actionable recommendations that enable decision-makers to avoid or reduce strategic risks related to space operations. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure intelligence is effectively incorporated into planning and operational processes, while analyzing trends, threats, and emerging challenges to inform organizational strategy and strengthen risk posture.

Responsibilities:

Identifies courses of action to address operational, technical, and capability risks, protect critical information, and analyze intelligence on external threats, supporting both strategic and operational planning and execution. Analyzes complex data, coordinates with other services and organizations, and assesses the capabilities and vulnerabilities of adversaries. Plays a key role in leveraging intelligence to inform decision-making across space domain mission areas.

Duties:

· Lead and perform classified intelligence analysis and planning activities across the full range of military operations.

· Oversee the analysis and integration of collected intelligence.

· Produce actionable intelligence analysis.

· Exchange intelligence and conduct strategic planning with other services and organizations.

· Integrate intelligence with strategic and operational planning.

· Provide subject-matter expertise in information operations (IO), operations security (OPSEC), deception, Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Sensitive Activities (SA), Counter Intelligence (CI), Publicly Available Information (PAI), Identity Management (IdM), competitive activities planning, and strategic engagement initiatives.

· Support the staffing and development of concepts, strategies, policies, exercises, capability development documents, assessments, and program funding requests for DAF SC2.

Clearance Required:

As a condition of employment, ISA employees are expected to have or be eligible for a Secret-level security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Applicants must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hiring. All ISA employees are required to uphold and maintain trustworthiness and suitability requirements of the U.S. federal government.

Experience Required:

Experience should include but is not limited to working knowledge of:

· Minimum of 3 years supporting senior headquarters positions as a strategic and/or operational planner

· Experience leading, performing, and planning intelligence activities across the full range of military operations

· Experience analyzing and integrating collected intelligence to inform strategic decision-making

· Over 5 years of relevant experience

· Experience with Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, Air or Space Staff, or Major Commands

· Staff officer or planning experience in a military or defense context

· Experience developing intelligence plans, policies, or supporting strategic and operational planning

· Familiarity with Information Operations (IO), operations security (OPSEC), deception, Military Information Support Operations (MISO), or related military intelligence disciplines.

Education:

Bachelor's degree (required) in sciences, humanities, social sciences, structured analysis, engineering or mathematics (preferred). Master's degree (preferred).

Certification:

Joint Qualified Officer (JQO) or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience as a planner on a joint staff (Combatant Command or Joint Staff), Air of Space Staff, or Major Command/Field Command preferred.

Salary at ISA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The salary range for this position varies dependent on years of experience, relevant certifications and education. Salary is just one component of ISA's total compensation package for employees.
