You will support security-related operations by greeting visitors, managing access and badges, monitoring activity through systems, and communicating clearly with store leadership. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests and store associates at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Manage access control at the main entrance and front desk, including greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing individuals to the correct location.
- Monitor the front desk area for unusual activity and report concerns promptly to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision to help to deter potential issues.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
- Support retail loss prevention and brand protection efforts by observing customer traffic near entrances, maintaining professional presence, and communicating with store management regarding security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
