Description

OrthoVirginias Herndon practice is part of a network with over 100 orthopedic specialists across more than 30 sites, making it the largest provider of orthopedic medicine and therapy in the state. The practice is equipped with the latest orthopedic treatments and technology to provide top-tier care in Northern VA.

Team and Leadership

Leadership is led by Dr. Clavio Ascari, RVP. The team highlights include leadership and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department.
• Manage medical care of patients under anesthesia during surgeries and procedures.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor physiological conditions and perform clinical interventions as needed.

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
• Current physician license.
