Employment Support Specialist / DSP – Help Adults Succeed at Work

Looking for a meaningful job where you can help people succeed AND have your evenings and weekends free ?

At ECHO , we're hiring an Employment Support Specialist to help adults with disabilities find, learn, and succeed in real jobs in the community.

• Monday–Friday only (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• No nights. No weekends. No shift work.
• Consistent schedule every week

What You'll Do (Real-World Impact)

This is not a desk job-you'll be out in the community supporting individuals at their workplaces.

• Coach and support individuals on the job at local businesses
• Help build confidence, independence, and job skills
• Assist with learning tasks, routines, and workplace expectations
• Support positive relationships between participants and employers
• Track progress and celebrate milestones
• Ensure safety and follow individualized support plans

Basic Requirements

• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (including fingerprinting)
• Experience in human services or related field preferred-but we will train the right person
