Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA

Clearance

• Active TS/SCI W/ CI Polygraph (existing clearance required to start)

Location

• Chantilly, VA

Overview

• Perform configuration, development, support, and maintenance of SNOW instances
• Design, develop, and build custom applications
• Write production backend applications
• Ship and run services in cloud environments, with a focus on AWS
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems
• Identifies and implements best-practice solutions to address client requirements
• Performs operational support of custom development and 3rd party integrations
• Performs unit-testing and resolves code defects
• Assists with technical design and documentation
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions that support business requirements

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, Bash, JavaScript)
• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter
• Strong documentation and verbal communication skills to collaborate with and convey focused messages to stakeholders, customers, domain experts, program managers, and teammates encompassing architecture, high-level, and detailed system designs
• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level IT systems
• Experience deploying cloud-based enterprise-level applications such as in AWS and Azure
• Experience with Linux administration and deployed Linux-based systems
• Experience with system upgrades, patching, and regular IT system maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure; ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
