Key Job Details – MRI Technologist (Richmond, VA)

• Location: Richmond, VA 23225 (Virginia healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Hospital Radiology Department (1st Floor)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract (August 11, 2025 – November 10, 2025)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 - $1960 per week
• Call Requirements: Weekend call rotation (1 weekend/month); 2 weeknights of call per week (11pm–6am)
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an MRI Technologist
• Proficiency with GE MRI equipment (GE 450W 1.5T preferred)
• MR Registered (ARRT MRI or equivalent certification required)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to participate in scheduled call rotations

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures, including brain, spine, orthopedic, body, abdominal, and cardiac scans
• Operate GE 450W 1.5T MRI equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and maintain high image quality standards
• Document all procedures and patient information in Meditech and Centricity PACS EMR systems
• Collaborate with technologists and radiologists to deliver top-quality imaging services
• Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-centered environment
• Participate in weekend and weeknight call rotations as required
