Executive Housekeeper for a Private Residence in McLean, VA A lovely executive family in McLean, VA, is seeking a dedicated Executive Housekeeper to take full ownership of their 7,000-square-foot residence. The right candidate is a highly experienced, detail-oriented professional with a passion for creating and maintaining an immaculate home environment. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter with an impeccable standard of care. You will be responsible for the full range of household duties, from specialty cleaning of fine furnishings and delicate linens to managing inventories and overseeing vendors. We are looking for someone with a cheerful, can-do attitude who can work effectively and independently, ensuring the home runs smoothly and beautifully. Immediate interviews available. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications: Handle all aspects of daily and deep cleaning in the residence Manage household laundry with care, paying special attention to delicate fabrics and special instructions Keep the home well organized maintaining order in the fridge, pantries, closets, drawers, etc. Provide informed care for fine materials, antiques, artwork, crystal, and silver. Manage inventories of cleaning supplies, toiletries, pantry items, etc. Shop weekly, or as needed, for groceries and other household supplies. Work with a dedicated team, including a full-time Nanny and a Weekend Family Assistant, to ensure a seamless and supportive household environment. Qualifications: Prior experience as an Executive Housekeeper for a private family in a fine home. Excellent, verifiable references. A meticulous eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a professional demeanor. Strong English skills; communicate effectively with the family and staff. Flexible and adaptable, able to accommodate occasional changes in routine. Additional duties may include running household errands, assisting with some food prep, etc. A valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work legally in the U.S. are required. . Schedule MondayFriday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please let us know if you prefer a slightly different schedule. Some flexibility to work additional hours as needed is appreciated.
